Jay Boucher is a freelance illustrator and interactive designer who has been in the Hoboken & Jersey City art community for the past 20 years. He draws from life every chance he gets and combines observational drawing with digital manipulation to create his artwork. Jay spent much of the 2000′s as Senior Designer for MTV.com, designing sites for shows like Pimp My Ride and The Real World, as well as cable channels MTV2 and MTV Tr3s.
He has worked with Hearst Digital, Condé Nast and Westwood One Radio Network and he currently creates games and animations for the foundation of renowned illustrator Ezra Jack Keats. Jay has a BFA in Illustration from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MFA in Photography from School of Visual Arts in NYC.
He recently developed a game design curriculum for children in northern NJ and presented his student’s work at TEDx Jersey City. He can be found long boarding on the streets of Hoboken and Jersey City, NJ.
